Item Description: JUNIOR MISS METAL LUNCHBOX AND METAL/GLASS THERMOS from Aladdin Industries 1966-1969. This lunchbox features the same “fashion show girls” feeding the birds on front and back. This is the 4th Junior Miss lunchkit by AL (out of seven) of this longest-running lunchbox series of all time (25 years). Very nicely designed with our Junior Miss sitting pretty in yellow and her big hat adorned with fresh flowers and a bow – and a bird eating out of her hand. Laurel wreaths and flowers on the rim panels edged in yellow. The thermos decals carry over the theme with three different scenes featuring young ladies enjoying a picnic, a swing, and an evening with a book. A wonderful lunchkit for the discerning young lady. This is an investment grade example of this rare kit! Condition: Box and Thermos are complete and correct (including the original wire thermos holder). Main and side panels are super glossy and clean throughout - with only the slightest shelf wear. Very light rim wear - with no corner dents or dimples. Metal hardware is nice and shiny. Inside is also very clean - with no prior ownership markings. Box in overall Near Mint C-9 condition. Thermos lithos are super clean throughout, with no dents or dimples or rattle when shaken – bottom is nice and shiny - in overall Near Mint C-9 condition. From my personal collection – stored carefully in a cool, dry, smoke-free room away from sunlight.
